Jinenkan Kan Ryū Dōjō
Jissen Kobudō Jinenkan offers instruction in the arts of the Samurai and Ninja. Unarmed fighting, japanese sword arts, wooden staff, and much, much more...
The Jinenkan was founded by retired Lt. Colonel Fumio Manaka, Unsui Sensei in 1996, with the vision of being able to pass on his knowledge of Japan's old martial arts - and to be able to preserve these teachings - true to the way he himself had learned.
Manaka Sensei was a senior student of Soke Masaaki Hatsumi before founding Jinenkan and the Jinen Ryū. He has over 50 years of experience in the martial arts and holds mastery over six different Ryū-ha (martial art schools) from traditional times Japan.
We study these ancient warrior arts at Jinenkan Kan Ryū Dōjō, the only official Jinenkan Dōjō in Denmark.
The Dōjō is located in Copenhagen, Denmark and is run by Dōjō-chō Asher Ware.
Asher is a certified Jinenkan Dōjō-chō, and is currently ranked as sandan (3rd level black belt) in the Jinenkan system. He has been a student of the Jinenkan since 2009 and has studied personally with Unsui Sensei and many of the Jinenkan Dōjō-chō, besides attending many of the Jinenkan seminars through-out the years.
There is regular weekly training:
Wednesdays, 6 pm to 8 pm
Location: Studiestræde 32 B
Also, approx. every third month, a seminar is held.
Usually during a weekend from 10 am - 3 pm.
You must be 16 years to participate.
It is also possible to take private lessons.
For students wishing to study in other cities in Denmark or in London, England, special arrangements can be made for your instruction.
